Why we collect your personal information?

We collect your personal information in order to provide our services.  By registering with 3D Measure Me, we will collect your personal information in order to:

(a)    register you for our services by setting-up and updating your account with us;

(b)    to provide our services to you; and

(c)    for internal purposes including the administration of our website, data analytics, compliance with law, legal processes or our internal policies and procedures.

Who will we disclose your personal information to and will this be overseas?

In order to provide our services to you and for the purposes specified above, we may need to disclose your personal information to third parties, which may include:

(a)   our related bodies corporate;

(b)   banks or other financial institutions to facilitate payments and other financial transactions;

(c)   our retail partners who use our services to offer goods and services to you; or

(d)   third party service providers who may help us, for example, to provide marketing and promotional material to you.

Will we disclose your personal information overseas?

By providing your personal information in accordance with this Notice, you expressly consent to our disclosure of your personal information to overseas recipients in the manner set out above despite the fact that these overseas recipient will not be accountable under the Privacy Act and you will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act for activity or conduct engaged in by such overseas recipients. Such recipients may be located in jurisdictions outside Australia, particularly in jurisdictions in which our retail partners are incorporated or operate.

Do we collect sensitive information?

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive information from you in connection with your registration with us and your use of our services generally (other than in connection with your use of our virtual avatar creation, which is subject to a separate collection notice). In some specific circumstances we may inadvertently collect sensitive information about you, such as your racial or ethnic origin or religious affiliation in connection with your registration details. We will only collect sensitive information from you with your consent.
